FDD04: FDD for Feature Leads
(Chief Programmers)

Overview

The Feature Leads manages a small team of Artifact Owners towards the goals of a single iteration. You are actively involved in all five steps of Feature Driven Development. The ultimate success of an FDD project relies on your ability to deliver quality features on time.

During this workshop, you will learn your role within the modeling team; features list team, and the planning team. You will also see how your role is critical to managing the feature team through the design and build by feature steps and getting features promoted to a build.

Workshop Format

All Process Exchange workshops use the amplified learning technique pioneered by Peter Coad. Using a combination of lecture snippets and hands-on exercises participants quickly begin to learn the subject matter at hand.

Participants in this workshop will complete several exercises on their own, and will work on their collaboration skills by working through a number of project scenarios with other participants.
